Senior Pastor

Karampatsos, Rev. JasonIn Chris Tomlin’s song  God of This City  the chorus  proclaims “Greater things have yet to come, greater things are still to be done in this city”, these words have been on my heart ever since first coming to Cedarville Assembly of God. God has done so many amazing things through this church, but He has even greater plans for Brandywine and the surrounding community. The words of Christ still ring true today that “…The harvest is plentiful…” (Luke 10:2a), but I am convinced that He desires to use us in these days to bring the hope to this generation.

Jennifer and I both graduated from Valley Forge Christian College (class of 2000), after which I was Ordained with the Assemblies of God and earned a Master’s degree from Loyola College in Maryland. I am currently in Loyola’s PhD program in Pastoral Counseling, and I believe that God has uniquely gifted and prepared us to minister to challenges facing families today. As parents of three beautiful children (Autumn, Hailey & Christian) we have a lot invested in seeing generations coming together to reach our community. If you feel God stirring you to minister to the needs in our area, or perhaps you are curious as to what God has for your life, we’d love to get a chance to spend some time and get to know you better.

At your service to be in His,

Pastor Jason Karampatsos

Leon Cover

Leon CoverBorn and raised in Baltimore, I was saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit at the age of 13. I served four years in the United States Marine Corps, with a tour in Vietnam, moving to the Brandywine area in 1969. I then began a career with the Maryland State Police, retiring after 21 years of service.

Twenty-six years ago I was asked to serve the congregation as the church treasurer, and I continue to serve as the treasurer as well as a member of the board. My wife, Linda, grew up in Baden and has attended Cedarville Assembly all of her life. Together, we have a desire to see our church grow and reach the lost in our community. We now have two grown children and four beautiful grandchildren.

Wayne Harvey

Wayne HarveyI was born in my father’s home state of CT, as a young child my parents moved the family here to Baden, MD near my mother’s people (the Segers and the Grimes). My first memories of church are growing up here at Cedarville Assembly of God. I accepted Christ at an early age, joined the membership in 1969 and other than military service postings, have spent most all of my life right here in Baden. My wife Roxanna and I were married at Cedarville in 1977, and we raised our family here. In 1988 I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, became active in the church, taught Sunday school and coached Cedarville’s Teen Bible Quiz team for a number of years.
